Welcome!

Hello! Since you are here, it may be safe to assume this is your first time visiting The Travel Seeker; a quaint travel blog that shares the learnings of our (Daniel and Jessie) travels through Asia Pacific in the hope that you can pick up something useful.

What is the Travel Seeker all about?

The Travel Seeker was started because it’s difficult to consolidate information about travelling to different countries around Asia Pacific. It’s useful to know what the key foods, key places and things to look out for are during your trip, but unsurprisingly this information is scattered around Wikipedia, Lonely Planet and a small number of other travel blogs. There are blogs on backpacking around Europe and America everywhere, but where’s your average Joe’s guide to strolling through, say, Thailand?! So here it is, in one place, for you.

You’ll soon notice we are huge believers in travelling comfortably on a flexible budget, and we hope you are too! After all, what’s the benefit in visiting a country when you can’t afford to live to the minimum standards of a native and experience the same things? Dropping the day jobs and joining the many others travelling the world like an impractical superhero just isn’t sustainable in today’s world.

So, why not get to know us better!

If you’d like to share your experiences, give feedback on the blog, or want to collaborate with us, then feel free to shoot us an email at thetravelseeker1@gmail.com.
